1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using OneMinuteExplain ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

OneMinuteExplain is an iOS application that combines a 25-minute focus timer with a 60-second voice recording feature. The App transcribes your recordings on-device and stores sessions in your iCloud account. It is designed to support learning through the practice of verbal explanation.

3. Requirements

To use the App, you need:

• An iPhone running iOS 17.0 or later
• An iCloud account for data synchronization
• Microphone access for recording
• Speech Recognition permission for transcription

4. User Conduct

You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose of personal learning and self-assessment. You are responsible for all content you create within the App, including voice recordings and session data.

5. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by tknzk and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create within the App, including voice recordings, transcriptions, and reflection notes. Your content is stored in your private iCloud account and is processed locally on your device. We do not access, view, or use your content.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Speech recognition accuracy may vary depending on audio quality, language, and device capabilities.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, tknzk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or profits, arising out of or in connection with the use of the App.

9. Third-Party Services

The App relies on Apple services including iCloud, Speech framework, and AVFoundation. Your use of these services is governed by Apple's terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the availability or performance of third-party services.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
